Celebrating our 85th birthday in style

For 85 years, Citizens Advice has been helping people find a way forward with free, impartial advice – whoever you are, whatever the problem.

Birthday celebrations have begun in earnest this September, and staff and volunteers have been marking the milestone.

As part of the celebrations, our teams have benefited from wellbeing events courtesy of a kind donation from local logistics firm NTEX Logistics Limited.

For our birthday celebration week, some of our colleagues turned up in clothes and hairstyles from the 1940s, while others dressed in yellow and blue – the colours of both Citizens Advice and NTEX!

Did you know we’re an independent charity working for all the residents of the City of Kingston Upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire? We help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing information, advice, casework and representation. We have offices in Beverley, Bridlington, Hull and Goole.

Our volunteers come from a range of backgrounds and bring with them different skills and experiences. One thing they have in common is that they find volunteering to be enjoyable and rewarding. Find out more.
