New Bailiffs Regulatory Body

A new regulatory body for bailiffs – the first of its kind in the UK – was launched today as new figures reveal that over a third of families fear the cost-of-living crisis will force them into debt.

The Enforcement Conduct Board (ECB) is the new independent oversight body for bailiffs set up to ensure that all those who are subject to enforcement action in England and Wales are fairly treated.
