East Riding Generalist Adviser – 1 x full time post

Based in either Bridlington, Beverley or Goole office, with travel to the other two offices (travel expenses paid).
Hybrid working policy in operation – option to work part of your week from home.
37 hours per week
Salary scale: £26,658 pa
Trainee Salary: £23,207 pa, rising to £26,658 pa on completion of the traineeship
Funded until 31st March 2024 with potential for continuation funding
Based within Citizens Advice, Hull & East Riding’s Generalist Advice Service the post holder will deliver generalist advice services and bespoke energy advice in the Wilson Centre Hull, and outreach venues across the city.
Unless applying for a traineeship, the post holder should have knowledge of the current law and policy in relation to energy, welfare rights and money advice and at least 1-year experience of providing legal advice on a wide range of issues to members of the public.
You will have the ability to work both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team and to be confident using a wide range of IT systems. IT Equipment will be provided.
Traineeship

We will be looking for the ability to meet the person specification and deliver the job to the required standards within 6 months. Full training will be offered.
